Step 2: Create Bingo Cards in Hitmix Bingo
Once your playlist is ready, it’s time to create your bingo cards.
🎴 Open the Create Cards Tool
- Click the Create Cards button in Hitmix Bingo.
- Select Card Preview to see what your bingo cards will look like.
You can adjust the card’s settings, then click Card Preview again to see the updated design.
⚙️ Customisation Options
Here’s what you can customise:
| Setting | Description |

| Number of Cards | The total number of bingo cards you want to create. |
| Rows | The number of horizontal rows on each bingo card. |
| Columns | The number of vertical columns on each bingo card. |
| Display Artist / Title | Choose to display the artist, title, or both on your cards. |
| Paper Format | Choose how many cards appear on each printed sheet. |
| Artist Font / Font Size & Colour | Adjust the font style, size, and colour for artist text. |
| Title Font / Font Size & Colour | Adjust the font style, size, and colour for song titles. |
| Game Name Font / Font Size & Colour | Adjust how the game name appears on the card. |
| Footer Font / Font Size & Colour | Adjust how the footer text appears. |
| Free Square | Add a centre “free” square if desired. |
| Remove Parenthesis | Removes any text within parentheses ( ) from song titles. |
| Background Image | Add a custom background image to your bingo card. |
| Footer | Add custom footer text at the bottom of the card. |
🧾 Paper Format Options
In the Create Cards screen, you can choose from a variety of paper formats depending on your printer and layout preference:

| A4 Portrait | Two bingo cards on one A4 sheet. |
| A4 Landscape | Four bingo cards on one A4 sheet. |
| A4 Single Page | One large bingo card per A4 sheet. |
| A5 Landscape | One bingo card per A5 sheet. |
| Letter Portrait | Two bingo cards on one Letter sheet. |
| Letter Landscape | Four bingo cards on one Letter sheet. |
| Letter Single Page | One large bingo card per Letter sheet. |
💡 Tip:
If your cards are printing too close to the edge of the paper, try one of the sizes starting with 10mm — these add a small margin to help with printer alignment.
💾 Saving Your Bingo Cards
- Click Card Preview to view a sample bingo card.
- Press Save PDF to create a printable file.
- Choose a location on your computer to save it.
🎮 New Game vs Add Cards
After saving, you’ll be asked whether you want to create a New Game or Add Cards:
New Game – Deletes all previously created cards for the current game.
⚠️ Any leftover printed cards from the previous game will no longer be valid.
- Add Cards – Creates new bingo cards while keeping existing ones unchanged.
📁 Where to Find Your Files
The PDF file (for printing) will be stored in the location you selected when saving.
The XML file (for online or digital cards) is stored automatically in the data folder:
- Click the Hitmix Bingo icon in the top-right corner of the software.
- Locate the file inside the result folder.
⚠️ Do not delete this XML file — it is required for online bingo gameplay and syncing.
