Playlist Songs Appear Grey in Hitmix Bingo

If you load your playlist and all the songs appear greyed out, this indicates there’s a problem with the Hitmix Bingo database.

Follow the steps below to fix the issue safely.

Step 1: Close Hitmix Bingo

Make sure Hitmix Bingo is completely closed before continuing.

Step 2: Locate the Hitmix Bingo Folder

Open your File Browser (Finder on Mac or File Explorer on Windows) and navigate to the following location:

  • Mac:

    /Users/username/

  • Windows:

    C:\Users\YourUsername\

Step 3: Rename the Hitmix Bingo Folder

In this directory, find the folder named Hitmix Bingo.

Rename it using today’s date — for example:

Hitmix Bingo 17-07-2025

⚠️ Important:

Do not delete anything. Renaming keeps your data safe while allowing the software to create a new folder.

Step 4: Rebuild the Folder

  1. Open Hitmix Bingo.
  2. Wait about 5 seconds.
  3. Close it again.

You’ll now see two folders:

  • New: Hitmix Bingo  (just created)
  • Old: Hitmix Bingo 17-07-2025  (your backup)

Step 5: Copy Your Data Back

  1. Open your old folder (e.g., Hitmix Bingo 17-07-2025 ).
  2. Copy the entire user folder and paste it into the new Hitmix Bingo folder.
  3. Copy the entire result folder and paste that into the new Hitmix Bingo folder as well.

Step 6: Reopen Hitmix Bingo

Open Hitmix Bingo again.

Your playlists and data should now be restored, and the songs should appear normally.
